Vargal® self-locking nuts offer reliable protection against the automatic loosening of screw connections even with strong vibrations. A metallic clamping part in the form of a coil spring is integrated. This compresses the fourfold slit, elastic collar together. The clamping force acts uniformly on the threads of the screw and does not damage the thread. The clamping force is maintained even in case of repeated reuse. The Vargal® lock nuts are processed in the same way as conventional nuts and comply with the German Federal Railway Standard BN 205 107 B
