DIN 1480 turnbuckle nuts are to be assembled with DIN 34828 welding ends made of the same material. In this case, the load bearing capacity of the turnbuckle nut is always greater than the load bearing capacity of the wellding ends. When assembling with end fittings of a different material, especially a material with a higher strength, the load bearing capacity of the turnbuckle nut is to be examined seperately
